What we do
Division 9 is proud to serve the Connecticut
River region in Massachusetts. Currently two flotillas provide
boating safety
courses, perform vessel safety checks and patrol to aid boaters. Find out more about the flotilla nearest you by
clicking on the links to the left. Not all flotillas currently have
websites, but there is contact information by clicking on the navigation
bar to the left of your screen. Find the flotilla nearest your home or
boat and click.

The Coast Guard
Auxiliary
is the civilian, non-military component of the Coast Guard team, created by an act of
Congress in 1939. The Auxiliary directly supports the
U.S.
Department of Homeland Security by
working with the United States Coast Guard
to achieve all of its
missions except military and law enforcement actions.
Recreational boating in the United States is growing
rapidly. To help make boating safer for all, the Auxiliary needs more quality members, people like you! |
